  Providence Canyon State Park, Lumpkin, GA Prior to my wife and myself’s road trip in the winter of 2023-2024 that would take us to various attractions within the state of Georgia , we hadn’t had much experience with the state.  Sure, we stopped by the charming city of Savannah for the afternoon, but that wasn’t enough to properly explore the city, nor the state for that matter.   It was during the winter of 2022 when we first visited the city of Biloxi Mississippi , on our way to the west coast.  We stayed for 7 nights/8 days at the beautiful Beau Rivage , the premier casino resort along the   Mississippi Sound/Gulf of Mexico . We had such a great time at the city that we decided to visit it again during our winter road trip (December 2023-February 2024).  Like our first trip, we again used our Gold Status with MGM Resorts to get 3 free nights at the Beau Rivage .  With our accommodations secured, we were looking forward to our second visit in as little as two years.
